This hard tonneau cover folds up toward your cab for full access to your truck bed. It secures to your cab with latches, making it safe for highway driving. Extruded aluminum panels withstand impact from hail and other falling objects.
This cover latches at 10 points along the rails, making prying it open nearly impossible. Lock your tailgate, and your cargo stays secure.
High-strength urethane aluminum with a diamond plate finish resists hail and impacts, keeping your truck bed protected in any condition.
Overlapping rubber seals and a slight arc shed water efficiently - no drain tubes needed. Stake pockets remain open for ladder racks and gear.

This tri-fold cover opens fast with a pull cord, providing two-thirds bed access. For full access, it folds up completely to 90 degrees and secures to the cab with latches, magnets, and adhesive - eliminating the need for prop rods. This design keeps the cover from touching your cab, preventing scuffs and scratches while maintaining clear rear visibility. Perfect for hauling large cargo or towing a fifth-wheel.
Urethane aluminum panels support 500 lbs (evenly distributed) but weigh just 60 lbs, offering strength without bulk, and making it more manageable to remove.
Sitting just 1/2" above bed rails, this cover enhances style while its aerodynamic design reduces wind drag and improves fuel efficiency. Diamond plate industrial design matches toolboxes and accessories on contractor/professional vehicles.

Hello, neighbor. This is Curt with etrailer and today, we're gonna take a look at the Lomax Stance Hard Tonneau cover. Now, if you've had any experience with this tonneau cover or have questions about it, go ahead and leave those in the comments below. We love to take those and use them to help our other neighbors make the best decision for themselves. Now, if you have a truck that you're using quite a bit and you really want to be able to protect any of your gear or cargo in the back, a hard tonneau cover is a really good way to go. It's going to be a great anti-theft measure, especially as opposed to a soft tonneau cover, which while it'll protect from the elements, can be slashed open with a knife and somebody could get in and take your stuff outta the back if they really wanted to.
A hard tonneau cover like this is gonna eliminate that. It's made of aluminum. It's got a nice diamond pattern on the top. It really gives it a nice look, especially on a truck like this and it is gonna have a capacity on the top of around 400 pounds. Now, it is also a tri-fold cover and we'll show ya how that works and it also has the ability to fold completely open and anchor to points that we have installed up here on the roof.
So, before I get into the tailgate and show ya how it operates, I also wanted to point out that it is ladder rack compatible. It's gonna sit above your bed rails and it is gonna be outta the way enough that these stake pockets are gonna be accessible. Now, as we drop our tailgate here, we're gonna find a latch on the side right here. It's gonna drop this string down. We're gonna be able to pull that and remove our first section.
The second section has no latch. We'll be able to lift that right outta place. And this is generally what you're gonna do for bed access. This'll be enough to reach, ya know, your fifth wheel or anything like that if ya have one and give you a really good amount of space to get most of your stuff in and outta the vehicle. However, there are gonna be times where you're gonna need use of the entire bed.
And for that, we're gonna go ahead and put it in its complete upright position. It's easiest to do it from the bed. First, we're gonna go ahead and unlatch using the string right here. We'll pull that down, unlatch it, bring it into an upright position and once we're here, there are these little braces here that we could put down on this installed piece that we have here and what that's gonna do is keep it in an upright position while also not letting it rest against the back of the cab and the light that we have back there. So, once I have that deployed, while it's not recommended to drive in this position, if you needed full bed access, this would be the way to get it done. So, as we're gonna lower this back down, we're just gonna drop it into place. We'll make sure it latches completely on both sides, unfold the next section and as I'm unfolding, you notice that the entire tonneau cover is gonna be lined with this rubber seal. That's gonna do a great job of keeping out the elements and keeping your cargo dry. So now that we're gonna be here at the final section, all you're gonna need to do is get it dropped right down into place. (cover clicks) Make sure it latches here on both sides. And close our tailgate. It's really just that simple. This is an excellent choice for any truck. If you really are serious about protecting your cargo and keeping it outta the elements and keeping it safe from any of the uh, worse elements of society, criminals and thieves and such. So again, this is a really good choice for you and your truck. I'm Curt with etrailer. Thanks for stopping by.
Ratings & Reviews
Easy to install. Rugged and no leaks.
I wish the arrival date had been more accurate but it all worked out.
The cover is great, so happy to have it.
Great quality and fit for a new 2024 Ta coma
1st one available for new frontier at the time-fit well-customer loved it
We did not receive this item yet. UPS tracking shows it was delivered to the wrong address, which was a truck stop in Charleston TN about 10 or 15 miles away from our house. UPS is trying to find it. :-(
Well made. Solid. Fairly easy for quick install. All necessary hardware provided.
As expected. Easy installation. Get many positive comments. Would purchase again
Very nice. Really sharp looking. This has been the best tonneau cover we have ever had.
Lightweight & strong. This cover has gotten alot of compliments & looks great, works well. My only criticism is that the heavy rains can let in a little water but otherwise its perfect and should last a long time to come!
Just got it two days ago and am very happy with the quality. The material and workmanship is great, It took 45 minutes from unboxing to driving out of the shop ( having a second person to hold the rails while securing helps ).I park next to a Tacoma with a factory installed cover and there is no comparison (even he says so)
Perfect fit. I was expecting a black cover, but this looked great and turns out to be a real attention getter.
Items well secured when the tailgate is locked. No worries of someone cutting through a cloth cover.
This cover replaced a second soft folding cover. The intense sun here in AZ destroys things in quick fashion. Spending a bit more for a hard cover was the correct move. Installing by myself was challenging but after figuring out the clamping system, I prevailed! There were three different clamps that came with the unit. Viewing a Youtube video on installing this cover, they only showed one type of clamp for both sides of the bed rails. I used the short clamps (4) for the bed front, long clamps (2) for the midsection, and long clamps w/plates (2 for the back near the tailgate. Since my bed is covered with a rubberlike coating, I had to cut out the two plugs from the stake pocket holes in order to install the back clamps. I have an undercover swing out tool box so opening and closing the back panel is so much easier than the soft cover units. I like the slim design and the black diamond surface looks great!
Installs easily and does what we need it to do. It is not water tight - things around the edges in the bed will get wet in the rain. It does not fold forward far enough to accommodate our gooseneck trailer when turning sharply.
After a year, there are a few honest dings and scratches (it's not a show truck). But.. you really have to look for them. I was afraid an aluminum tonneau cover would be a glare problem, but it hasn't been... and it still looks grand on a silver truck. I specifically wanted a hard cover, and I've found it eminently functional, easy to adjust to different loads (full cover, 1/3 bed cover, or removed), and the side rails haven't impeded anything I want to put in the bed (up to and including a full size carriage axle). When folks ask "Where'd you find an aluminum tonneau?" I send them to etrailer.com because I'm happy with y'all.
Very good product, easy to install. Very strong while thin and easy to fold.
I certainly recommend this product.
It installed on the side rails inside the bed.
The look is great. So far the best I ever had.
But the most is that It could be removed completely very easily!! so I don't have any folded cover on the back window of my truck.....
Love it and so many others also. Great comments for its looks and sturdiness. I made a perfect choice,
Delivery not as listed.
Finish seems durable, but the panel at the tailgate seems to deflect in the center. Does not seem to have any support. Time will tell on the durability.
Fairly quick delivery, especially during the holiday season. Super easy install and love the look. Still in the suggested 48 hour initial period so haven't removed the cover and reinstalled it, but if the original install is any indication, it will also go smoothly.
we installed the Tonneau cover and it was the best-looking item for my truck. I also ordered side boards for my truck from e-trailer too and they were just as good. I am very pleased with the items that were purchased. I believe they are very durable and will withstand the Phoenix heat here. thank you, etrailer.
The delivery took a little longer than expected. Installation took about 25-30 minutes. I like it. It works as expected and looks so cool. It does leak just a small amount in the front passenger corner. I think with a little bit of settling, it'll be fine. Perhaps someone there can give me some advice on correcting that.
Product is good instructions suck, you tube was more useful. Dont send generic instructions, for two types of vehicles. Handy person can do install but more precise and more detailed pictures of how stuff is installed and direction it should be oriented.
